Calloughs Lake, a mile outside the town, is stocked yearly with both Brown & Rainbow Trout. The hotel annually co-hosts the King of Clubs, & stena line challenge Angling Festivals with great success, both from a fishing and entertainment point of view, with many anglers re-booking on departure.
